Date Saturday, July 14th      Location Avalon on Catalina Island!  The wedding and reception will take place at the Catalina Casino.  Use this link to get more information about Avalon.  Get information about transportation, hotels/lodging, weather, etc. We know that having the wedding in Catalina is asking for extra effort from guests.  We hope that this will be an enjoyable time for everyone and the last thing we want is for our wedding to be any burden!  We do not want anyone to feel overly extended.  If you can't make it, we completely understand.  If you can come, we really hope that you'll have a great time!   Time The ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm. If you do not plan to stay for the weekend, you can come just for the day. By arranging to take one of the last boats out of Avalon, you can still enjoy most of the reception.   Message Board We’ve set up a message board to help you find other people with whom to share rooms, share babysitters, find fellow golfers, find fellow SCUBA divers, etc. If you have teenage children, they could use the message board to offer babysitting services during the wedding for the children of other guests. Feel free to add tropical flare to your attire. Docker-type pants and a nice Hawaiian-print shirt would be very appropriate. We hope you’ll be comfortable and enjoy yourself!   Dancing Some people have asked about taking some dance lessons. Use this link for information on where to take lessons (or where to get instructional videos).   Children There will be a few children at the wedding and reception, but we are limiting this to family members.
